Amazing how we look to the Obama’s for inspiration and encouragement.. A beacon of light has been turned on in our path of history. Ms. Tyson epitomized pride, honor and equality. May she rest in the arms of the Lord.. She had the same when she was on screen. For me personally when I saw her on screen I sat up straighter, for I knew something good was coming. She commanded my attention. I was always in awe of her presence. . I never knew she was a model in her early days.. May your would rest in perfect peace mom. You were an inspirational. A blessing to the soul even to those of us who did not see you physically! You really blessed my life personally. Rest well mom…. A true inspiration and legend. A beautiful tribute from Mrs Obama….”but I smile knowing how many people she inspired, just like me, to walk a little taller, speak a little more freely, and live a little bit more like God intended”. My parents actually had tea with her in Hong Kong..I missed out. well say Michelle, we must live a life with love and joy. she did have personality that you can feel her humanity for people in her parts in movies. especailly the most video of Queen. I love my sisiter who really do care. i hope can connect with you and see the grace and interggity you walk in. keep living and making your legacy god has granted to you.. a lovely tribute for a lovely soul. i miss her already. i feel the world is less bright. it’s as though oxygen has been taken out of the room.. As a young white girl in an all white town… I remember watching Roots … and feeling like she was the earth mother of all creation…Etherial being… I wanted to be like her and Maya…. to command that kind of respect and grace….. just their presence brings wisdom if you let it. Some things can never be made right but the fact that she was able to witness change and see a couple like you and the Mr. in the White House is wonderful. Rip CT. Cicero Tyson- a woman of grace, valor and peace, who’s work inspired a nation to be bigger than the challenges that hurled around it. Thank God for the foot prints she left behind.. I’m shocked by how small she was as she loomed magically as large as all of our hopes. What a sad loss.. Great memories to have. She was such a extraordinary Queen who will be missed.. A beautiful legend and actress. I remember her even during my teen years. She gave so much. RIP. Ms. Tyson has always been one of my favorite actresses. Her insistence that African Americans in film and theater be portrayed with roles of dignity was such a courageous act and the standing up for the best in humanity. We all have been honored and privileged to have such a person walk among us to remind us of the best of the human spirit. May she Rest in Peace and condolenses to her family, friends, and fans. The warmest of regards for the Obama family always. God Bless you all.
